活動簡介 Synopsis :
本次活動的主題為「調解為先:開展對話 成就共識」,旨在鼓勵社會各界首先探索採用調解,更高效和便捷地解決爭議。活動以橫跨上午和下午的調解論壇展開:上午環節將探討司法機構在推動調解中的角色,而下午則有不同政府部門及持份者的代表分享他們如何透過不同的調解計劃,深化調解文化。此外,參與朋輩調解培訓的學生將以生動的方式分享調解在處理朋輩糾紛中的角色和好處。
活動最後有「調解為先」承諾書簽署儀式、星徽獎勵計劃頒獎典禮,並設有自由交流環節。當天活動將重點討論司法機構、政府和持份者在深化香港調解文化的最新發展和成果。
Under the theme "Mediate First: With Great Dialogue Comes Great Understanding", the event aims to encourage the community to first explore the use of mediation as an effective and accessible tool for dispute resolution. The event will kick off with a Mediation Forum spanning the morning and the afternoon: the morning session will explore the Judiciary's role in promoting mediation, and the afternoon session will include experience sharing from representatives of various government departments and stakeholders on how to deepen the mediation culture through different mediation schemes. Besides, students who have participated in the peer mediation training will, through a lively manner, showcase the role and advantages of mediation in resolving peer conflicts.
The event will culminate in a "Mediate First" Pledge Signing Ceremony, a Star Logo Awards Presentation Ceremony and a networking session. The event highlights the latest developments and achievements of the Judiciary, the Government, and stakeholders in deepening the mediation culture in Hong Kong.

「調解為先」承諾書
"Mediate First" Pledge
2009年,律政司推出「調解為先」承諾書運動(「運動」), 旨在推動調解在香港作為爭議解決的途徑。這運動鼓勵個人、公司及組織承諾在訴諸其他爭議解決方法(包括法庭訴訟)前,先探索以調解解決爭議。
至今,已有超過1000位/家個人、公司及組織簽署承諾書。

"Mediate First" Pledge is a campaign launched by the Department of Justice in 2009 to promote the use of mediation in resolving disputes in Hong Kong. The campaign encourages individuals, companies and organisations to commit to exploring mediation before resorting to other dispute resolution processes, including court litigation.
To date, more than 1000 individuals, companies and organisations have made the pledge.
